Arrivaderci Italia! How I shall miss thee.
It's amazing how three days in a different country can change your life. Being in Italy honestly felt like home. I got along with the people their, and the sites were just magnificent, it didn't hurt that the food was AMAZING! I did enjoy that by the end of our stay this cafe we frequented knew our orders. It really did feel like home. Definitely would return in a heart beat, probably not to Milano, but to Roma, and Venice. Can't wait to come back :)
The amazing Breakfast we had at our Hotel.
We had lot's of time so we were able to go back to the Castello Sforcezco. Their museums were opened and it was awesome because we only paid 3 euros and were able to see four museums in the castle.
The ceilings in each room were painted beautifully! This is only some but all of them had beautiful art painted on the ceiling.
We were able to visit the instrument museum, and I saw so many antique piano's it was amazing.
We were able to see a Michelangelo, it was amazing. We weren't sure if it was the real Michelangelo, but it is! The guy that made the sisteen chapel.
The view from out walk up a million stairs at the castle. All the museums are located in the castle and you walk to various places, the museums kind of interconnect. It was a good two to three hours of just walking in and out of various museums and absorbing different forms of art.
At the end,we were able to go into the Egyptian exhibit we saw a mummy and various artifacts that were collected in a dig.
We had lots of fun, and I am deeply saddened to have left Italy, however I know that I will return again! Also tonight we are going to an Opera, The Marriage of Figaro so we are excited about that! And can't wait to post photos! :D
