The mishaps of night one, and the outdoors of a palace!

Oh my, where to begin! This trip has been an adventure for sure. After paying our driver, we were able to see our hotel room. To our shock, there were two beds, but pushed together to make one bed. Not exactly what we wanted... But we dealt with it. Also a washroom with no lock. We have to legit announce when we are going to the bathroom. Then we decided to go take a shower, wow was that another mishap. I couldn’t even figure out how to turn it on. All this is happening while two girls are laughing hysterically at everything that’s happened. So after I took a shower, my friend got ready and just told me how to plug my hair dryer in with the converter and she left. Well the converter fell off the wall, I went to re-plug it and all I heard was a spark, then a light, then darkness. A bizarre smell came out of the outlet, it was of burnt chocolate covered hot dog. My friend runs out of the bathroom and we are both laughing our faces off. That’s all we could do at that moment. photo IMG_0036_zpsd829ab06.jpg That’s how our hotel room looked like. It was insane, my friend went downstair to get the clerk. Meanwhile I was frantic trying to find stuff in the dark. SO the man came and I was in my pajamas. I was just laughing the whole time. Meanwhile my friend is trying to figure this out but we are laughing the whole time. Also it took the man forever to figure out about the spark plugs. So after the wifi fiasco, the shower, and the spark plug we were done and ready for bed. The next day we went to a McDonald’s Cafe! It was super fun. photo IMG_0040_zps495d1d7b.jpg Until I found out I couldn’t connect to the wifi at all and that I had a chocolate frappe not a coffee one. Let’s just say that was a bit frustrating to say the least. However the profiteroles were yummy! Also their cafe looked super fancy! While walking around we were able to finally find a palace!!! photo IMG_0044_zps4fbb2705.jpg The inside was closed, we figured that Sundays are always closed for many establishments so we just walked around the grounds, and wow were they pretty! photo IMG_0051_zps21f2b980.jpg photo IMG_0053_zps78188900.jpg There were so many statues and the garden was really big! Tomorrow we are hoping to get a tour of the inside, also to visit other places. It’s been crazy fun but hard with no WIFI to plan things. photo IMG_0059_zps5aeafd4e.jpg An iced coffee, with vanilla ice cream and water. It was so amazing! YA! Great way to quench our thirst, Also served with Romerquelle water! Carbonated. We decided to take an afternoon stroll and walked over a canal and saw pretty buildings. It made up for our awful evening before. photo IMG_0062_zpsfe7ef7e6.jpg photo IMG_0070_zps1017eeda.jpg Overall the trip has been great! A lot of hiccups along the way, but it's been so much fun. Honestly I haven't stopped laughing because all these stuff always seem to happen with me. The fact that I can't blow dry my hair, or have to announce I am going to the washroom because there is no lock on the door makes me laugh so hard. But I am having a ton of fun. Also am happy that I am able to go and eat amazing food. The best food I have ever had, aside from my mom's home cooking. She is the best cook in the world. Miss you mommy! Yummy Italian food! Everything was made fresh, and the ingredients were so fresh it was yummy. Also the server knew I was spanish and thought Mexico but he was close enough. With my spanish and his Italian we were able to figure out our bill it was great!!! photo IMG_0072_zpsb0734f6b.jpg Today, (Monday) we are hoping to go to Mauthausen to check out the concentration camp. It's exciting but at the same time sobering. Will definitely update and post more about that.
